Community Development Program: Life Skills Classes

As I have progressed through my career, I have had exceptional mentors to guide me and teach me valuable skills. I want to do the same for others. I have been developing a community program that empowers people through various life skills classes.

Classes offered
- Basic Automotive: Basic combustion engine theory, with hands on training including; how to safely support a vehicle, performing engine oil and filter change, and checking other fluids and components
- Basic Plumbing: Overview of Drain, Waste, and Vent theory in a residential wooden framed structure, with hands on training including; how to properly measure & cut, clean, fit & join ABS/PVC pipes and fittings.
- Basic Small Equipment Repair: Overview of Two-Stroke engine theory and basic troubleshooting; hands on training includes chainsaw tune up and blade sharpening, weed whacker idle adjustments, and prolonging the life of cutting string.
- Automotive Suspension & Brakes: Overview of suspension theory; hands on training included replacement of front & rear struts, brake pad and rotor replacements for all four tires, and installing a custom 2" lift.
